HSUS Offers Humane Education Mini-Grants for K-12 Classroom Teachers

The Humane Society of the United States has launched a new mini-grant program, to award up to $1,000 each to 1-2 K-12 classroom teachers in the U.S. seeking funding for an innovative standards-based, humane education program, activity or project. The project must be the original creation of the applying teacher, and there are several specific guidelines, which you can download here.

The deadline to apply is November 30, 2011.
