Point them toward the Breakthrough Institute's Breakthrough Generation Fellowship Program. According to their website, the Fellowship program"seeks to establish a founding group of the country's most highly motivated and capable young leaders, foster their strategic vision and intellectual clarity, and support their work on innovative projects during the summer or fall that achieve on-the-ground local solutions and build the larger movement for bold national action on clean energy."Applicants between ages 18 and 28 are eligible for the up to 10 fellowships. Fellowships include a $5,000 grant, as well as expenses for a spring and fall summit and a summer conference. The deadline to apply is March 21, 2008.
